Hit dimensional tolerances right from the very first part
All heaters have a number of imperfections and variations: dimensional tolerances, compaction inconsistencies, chemical composition variation, stretch, elasticity, and more. These can all affect bend quality. That’s why some bends may turn out vastly different from what’s expected in terms of quality, accuracy, and repeatability.
Traditionally, a bender operator needs real expertise to compensate for these variations.

Simply enter the standard bending data and the machine will automatically generate the part program, pulling from prior bending experience stored in its database, to make sure the very first part comes out right.

The 3D graphic programming software developed by OIM lets you create and immediately run the machine program by simply entering the geometric data of the heating element.

Minimum setup time and repeatable accuracy
All major machine movements are driven by electric servos. Bend positions, tooling information, and power parameters are all stored together in the part program. When a job is run again, you simply mount the tools and call up the program.
No further mechanical adjustments are needed.
This ensures fast setup and changeover, and delivers lot-to-lot repeatability.
It also eliminates the need for a dedicated bender setup specialist.
